Requirements

• cadwork 3D 2026 or newer
• A cadwork.ai account

Open your first session

1. Start cadwork 3D and open a model.
2. Launch the cadwork.ai plugin from the plugin menu.
3. Sign in with your cadwork.ai account.
4. Ask the assistant something about the model in front of you.

Verifying the connection

If the assistant cannot see your model, check that the plugin reports a connected session:

A healthy plugin answers with its status and the name of the open model. If the call does not respond at all, the plugin is not running, start it from the cadwork plugin menu.
